The bicycle, in all its various forms has gained a huge following, while the unicycle has somehow become a head turn dark eyebrows rarity of funds. I can not imagine an activity that has a more complete set of entrenched stereotypes and stigmas attached to it and its participants that the unicycle and unicyclists.

The perception of most people of unicycles and those traveling in them revolve around the circus, clowns, jugglers and street performances. True, the unicycle is a cornerstone of the performance skills of the circus, but the unicycle has more to offer. (more…)
